Andrew has degrees in law and in philosophy from Melbourne University. Before returning to Melbourne Law School, he was associate to Justice K M Hayne AC of the High Court of Australia and a solicitor at King & Wood Mallesons.

His research interests are in philosophy of law and philosophical logic. He is also interested in constitutional law and private law theory.

Andrew is undertaking a DPhil at Oxford University as a Menzies Scholar. His research, supervised by Timothy Endicott and Timothy Williamson, is on the logic and metaphysics of obligation.

At Melbourne, he has taught Trusts and Legal Method and Reasoning, and has been a research associate at the Centre for Comparative Constitutional Studies.
