Research Fellow in Legal Writing and Academic Skills
Bree Williams assists The Melbourne JD Students with their legal writing and academic skills. This includes legal writing, research topic development, study skills, editing and exam preparation. Her work in the Legal Academic Skills Centre aligns with her research interest: clear legal writing education. Bree is currently completing a Doctor of Juridical Science in this area at Monash University.
Bree is also the Research Fellow for the MLS Indigenous Community Pilot Program.
Bree has a private legal practice professional background in Queensland and Victoria. She worked as a support lawyer for Victoria Legal Aid and Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, amongst other firms, before joining Melbourne Law School in 2017.
