David Tadgell

Overview

David is a Partner of the patent and trade marks attorney firm Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick. He has practised for 30 years in the patents area, particularly with chemical, pharmaceutical and mineral processing patents. He has also had experience with Plant Breeders Rights and dealings with the PBR office.

David is a Senior Fellow of Melbourne Law School at the University of Melbourne and is currently lecturing in Patent Practice and Interpretation and Validity of Patent Specifications (I&V). He is a Council Member and Fellow of the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys, where he is Convenor of the International Committee. He is also a Past President of the Australian Group of AIPPI.
