Professor Carolyn Evans, Dean of Melbourne Law School invites MLS alumni to join her at a special Alumni Dinner in New York.
This Dinner is part of a series of special events designed to mark and celebrate the 160th Anniversary of legal education at Melbourne Law School in 2017. It offers a wonderful opportunity for alumni living in the US to reconnect with each other.
MLS Alumnus, Professor Philip G Alston (LLB(Hons) 1972, LLM, 1976, BCom 1977), John Norton Pomeroy Professor of Law at NYU and UN Special Rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights, will be a special guest at this Dinner.
At this Dinner, Professor Evans will host an "in conversation" style discussion with Professor Alston, during which Professor Alston will share with guests his experience in various roles over time, with particular focus on his human rights work at the UN.
Cost for this Dinner is AU$70 per person. Partners and guests are welcome to join.
