More Information:	Judge Atsuyuki Taniike is an Assistant Judge from the Tokyo District Court, Japan.  He is visiting the Law School as part of the Supreme Court of Japan's Overseas Training and Research Program. During his stay, Judge Taniike will undertake research into Australia’s contract laws, focussing on the differences between the Australian and Japanese systems, and the thoughts and backgrounds behind those systems.  He will also undertake research into the civil procedure and civil jury system in Australia.
