Services For Faculty

The Law Library provides a range of services for Melbourne Law School Faculty and general staff including:

• Law Research Service – research assistance to support publication and knowledge transfer, including undertaking comprehensive research projects, arranging document delivery and providing training for faculty research assistants
• Developing current awareness profiles for particular research interests
• Individual instruction on sophisticated database searching techniques
• Working with the Legal Research Skills Advisor to teach legal research classes to students in specific subjects
• Assistance and advice on integrating Law Library resources into teaching programmes, including making materials available via Readings Online and in the High Use collection
• Library tours for new staff and faculty visitors
• Monthly alerts for new books received in the Law Library
• Collecting materials from other University of Melbourne Libraries on your behalf.
