Martin Davies is the Admiralty Law Institute Professor of Maritime Law and Director of the Maritime Law Center at Tulane University Law School, New Orleans. He is the author (or co-author) of seven books on international trade law, shipping law (Australian and American), torts and conflict of laws. He has worked as a consultant to Australian law firms for over 20 years, and is presently a consultant to Norton Rose Australia.
