History of the Melbourne University Law Students' Society (MULSS)
Three significant alumni are seeking contributions for a publication on the history of the Melbourne University Law Students' Society (MULSS).
Melbourne Law School Students 1953
The Melbourne University Law Students’ Society will celebrate its 120th anniversary in 2017. To commemorate this milestone, three significant alumni, Graeme Rees-Jones (LLB 1960/LSS Secretary 1956), John Date (LLB 1957/LLM 2008/LSS President 1956) and Judge Graham Fricke (LLB Hons/GDipArts(Crim) 1985) are preparing a publication concerning the history of the Society. They hope to capture the broad image of its activities over the years.
The publication will include a list of the known executives of the LSS since its inception in 1887 and will give brief details of the biographies of some of the notable achievers after graduation. It will also include some recollections of student days.
Melbourne Law School is supporting the project in collection of data. Please read over the MULSS executives list, created by John Date, and be in touch with corrections or inclusions.
If you would like to contribute to this project with stories, historic details, editing or writing please contact Media and Communications Coordinator Lauren Smith.
