Dr Albert Dinelli currently teaches International Commercial Litigation in the LLM program at the Melbourne Law School, having previously taught, among other subjects, Constitutional Law and Dispute Resolution.

Dr Dinelli is a barrister at the Victorian Bar (Ninian Stephen Chambers) and at the Bar of England and Wales (Twenty Essex). He appears regularly in commercial and other trials, especially in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the Federal Court of Australia, and has appeared in numerous appeals in intermediate appellate courts, and before arbitral tribunals in Australia and overseas. He has appeared in more than ten appeals in the High Court of Australia in matters ranging from commercial and constitutional law to criminal law. In 2018, Albert was appointed by the Commonwealth Attorney-General as one of the Counsel Assisting the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry.

Dr Dinelli's consultation hours are by prior appointment at the Law School or at his chambers in the Melbourne CBD.
