Senior Fellow (Melbourne Law Masters)
King's College London
I am a qualified solicitor in the UK and a senior lecturer at King’s College London on the MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution. As a trainee solicitor, my practice experience commenced at Vizards, a law firm in Holborn, London. On qualifying I then took up the position of Associate in the Projects Department at Baker & Mackenzie, working on contentions construction matters such as arbitrations and adjudications. I then moved across sectors to education, working at BPP University which specialises in professional education as a Programme Leader, Module Leader and Senior Lecturer variously. I then joined King’s College London as a Senior lecturer to lead Module A on the MSc. This is a module designed for graduate non-lawyers with a view to familiarising them with the core subjects and skills of a lawyer.
My research interests include good faith and fiduciary duties in construction law contracts. Currently I am part of a research team working with Professor David Mosey on the FAC-1 and collaborative contracts. My specific area of interest on this team is sustainability. I am published in various industry publications including most recent the International Construction Law Review.
