Julia graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2012 with the degrees of LLB (Hons) and BSc (Mathematics and Statistics). She was the recipient of the Supreme Court Prize, the E J B Nunn Scholarship and the Joan Rosanove QC Memorial Prize. Julia completed a BCL (Distinction) at the University of Oxford in 2017 and received the Law Faculty Prize for Roman Law (Delict).
Julia is currently a Principal Solicitor at the Office of Public Prosecutions. She has previously practised as a litigation solicitor at the Victorian Government Solicitor's Office. She was an Associate to the Honourable Justice G A A Nettle AC of the High Court of Australia and the Senior Associate to the Honourable Chief Justice Marilyn Warren AC of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
