Lauge Poulsen is an Associate Professor at University College London (UCL) and Director of the Economy Section at the Global Governance Institute. He is the author of Bounded Rationality and Economic Diplomacy: The Politics of Investment Treaties in Developing Countries (winner of the International Studies Association’s inaugural International Political Economy Best Book Award), and co-author of The Political Economy of the Investment Treaty Regime, as well as numerous articles. He has appeared before parliamentary committees at the House of Lords and House of Commons of the United Kingdom, the Danish Parliament and the European Parliament. Prior to joining UCL, Lauge held positions at the University of Oxford and the London School of Economics.
