Luis Bogliolo
Overview
Dr Luís Bogliolo is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Laureate Program in International Law and a Tutor at Melbourne Law School. He holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne, an LLM from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and an LLB from the University of Brasília.
His research is focused on the history and theory of international law in the context of the intersections between technology and warfare. He adopts critical legal methodologies and historical materialism to consider the structures, limitations and possibilities of international legal discourse.
Luís has taught international law, intellectual property law, and international politics at the University of Melbourne. Before joining Melbourne Law School, Luís was Coordinator of Regulation at the Department of Intellectual Rights in the Brazilian Ministry of Culture, a lecturer at the University of Brasília, and Law Clerk at the High Court of Brazil.
