Margaret Satterthwaite is a professor of clinical law at NYU School of Law, where she directs the Global Justice Clinic and serves as Faculty Director of the Center for Human Rights and Global Justice and the Bernstein Institute for Human Rights. Her research focuses on methodologies for human rights research and advocacy, the well-being of human rights advocates, the rights to water and sanitation, and human rights and counter-terrorism. Her clinical advocacy includes litigation and projects aimed at ensuring communities and grassroots organizations have access to the information and tools they need to advance their rights.
