Overview

Noel Boys is a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Accounting having commenced at the University of Melbourne in 2002 following several years teaching in the secondary and tertiary sectors.

During his time at the University he has been actively involved in curriculum design across the First and Second Year programs and was a recipient of a Dean's Team Award for Good Teaching and Teaching Innovation in 2005. He also received the Department's Outstanding Teacher Award in 2006.

Outside the department Noel has also been involved in the design and delivery of post-graduate accounting subjects in the Melbourne Law Masters and Executive Masters of Arts programs as well as the Master of Management/Finance program at Taylors University College in Kuala Lumpur. He has also designed and delivered graduate training programs at mid-tier accounting firms and was an academic consultant on the CPA Australia project that created the ABC Learning Case Study DVD teaching resource. Noel is also a co-author of a recently completed text specialising in financial accounting.

Noel's teaching specialisation is in financial accounting and he is currently coordinator of the Second Year Financial Accounting subject in the B. Com. program at Melbourne.
