Overview

Peter Williams, Principal Fellow, was first appointed to the University as the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning's inaugural lecturer responsible for teaching and research in the complex field of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic engineering services. Being the first construction graduate appointed to the Faculty's full-time staff he was also responsible for a wide range of teaching, research and administrative roles in the newly established construction management program. Such expanded with the addition of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Property and for many years he was appointed Head of Property and Construction. It was during this period that he strongly supported the introduction of the Law School's postgraduate programs in Construction Law.

In recognition of his extensive relationships with FABP alumni and members of the architecture, construction and property professions, in recent years he has taken on the role of President of FABP's Graduate Association.
