Richard L Revesz is the Lawrence King Professor and Dean Emeritus at New York University (NYU) School of Law, where he directs the Institute for Policy Integrity. He is one of the United States’ leading voices in the fields of environmental and regulatory law and policy. Richard has published Struggling for Air: Power Plans and the “War on Coal” (with Jack Lienke; Oxford University Press 2016) and Retaking Rationality: How Cost-Benefit Analysis Can Better Protect the Environment and Our Health (with Michael Livermore; Oxford University Press 2008), as well as six other books and more than 70 articles. He serves as the Director of the American Law Institute, the leading independent organisation in the United States producing scholarly work to clarify, modernise and otherwise improve the law.
