Senior Fellow (Melbourne Law Masters)
Simon is one of the co-founders of Portable, a Melbourne based for purpose digital design studio. He has led the co-design process across government and justice agencies for the company over the past decade. This includes extensive work in seeking ways to redesign justice services and products that centre on the user. He has led over 50 projects across 30 agencies in Australia in the space.
His skill sets traverse strategy, co-design and lean methodology. Simon has over 15 years in the space, including being Australian Ambassador of the Webbys, the New York based award that are the Oscars for online. Simon is an Adjunct Fellow at the Sir Zelman Cowen Centre at Victoria University, a leading justice innovation hub in Australia. He is a past National President of AIMIA, at the time the peak digital body in the sector and has sat on the Health Informatics Association of Australia national board, driving their Innovation portfolio Simon sat on the Flexible Learning Advisory Group for the Federal Government to help inform their training and content creation for learning and training in the digital sector.
Simon has a Bachelor of Geomatic Engineering (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts from The The University of Melbourne.
