Overview

Tal is an Olympian, lawyer and sports administrator.

A Director and co-founder of Sixfold Consulting Group, Tal provides strategy, policy and stakeholder engagement services to clients in the sport, public and not for profit sectors.

Tal has held a variety of senior legal practice, policy and strategy roles over her career, including with Victoria Legal Aid, the Sentencing Advisory Council and the Department of Justice. Previously as Civil Advocate in Victoria Legal Aid Chambers, Tal appeared in complex civil and criminal matters in jurisdictions including the Victorian Supreme Court, County Court and Administrative Appeals Tribunal.

In earlier years Tal balanced her legal career with elite sport, representing Australia as a member of the Matildas (the Australian Women’s Soccer Team) and captaining Melbourne Victory in the W-League. After completing a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts at the Australian National University with first class honours in law and the University’s Blackburn Medal for Research, Tal became Associate to Justice Hayne of the High Court of Australia.

Tal serves on the boards of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation and YMCA Australia, having previously served on the board of Football Victoria.

Tal is also a Victorian Government ‘Change our Game’ Ambassador.
