Debbie joined the Asian Law Centre and Centre for Indonesian Law, Islam and Society in 2018. She holds degrees from the University of Nottingham (LLM in International Commercial Law) and the University of London (LLB (First Class Hons)). Debbie was a recipient of the ASEAN Masters Law Scholarship from the University of Nottingham, and the Brigid Cotter Prize for the best LLB results globally. Debbie has worked in legal practice and academic sectors at different universities and law firms, both in London and Melbourne. Debbie has a strong interest in Asian law and languages.
