Internships with CAIDE

CAIDE has a small number of opportunities for student internships in 2024, where interns can engage with our cross-disciplinary research teams on our ongoing projects.

We are interested in working with promising and enthusiastic students on topics in the field of AI Ethics and helping students pursue a career in this important emerging area of work. Internship work will be decided between CAIDE and the intern according to the intern's interests and area of study but will be dependent on the current and ongoing projects at CAIDE.

Prerequisites:

Faculty of Arts Internships (MULT20010 & MULT30019)

The Faculty of Arts offers an internship subject for undergraduate students at 200 and 300 level. Details of the internship subject can be found here(20010) or here (30019).

The internship is run administratively through the Faculty of Arts; CAIDE will be the host and take the supervisory role of the intern.

Faculty of Science Internships (SCIE30002 & SCIE90017)

The Faculty of Science Internships offer internships for undergraduate and masters students through their industry partnership internship program.

Similarly, the Faculty of Science will administer the placement, and CAIDE will be the host and supervisor.
