IILAH Skills Circle: Writing Book Proposals, Part II

IILAH Skills Circle: Writing Book Proposals Part II
Tuesday 18 August 2020 - 4:00 to 5:00 pm AEST
Email Connor Foley for a Zoom Invitation.

A big thank you to Michelle Lipinski for giving her time to speak with IILAH/UNSW students and scholars in our first session. A recording of the session is available to listen and/or download here:

The two books Michelle Lipinski recommended to transform your PhD into a book are:
1. From Dissertation to Book, Second Edition. William Germano, (Chicago, 2013)
2. Revising Your Dissertation: Advice from Leading Editors, edited by Beth Luey (California, 2004)

For the second instalment of the Skills Circle our guest will be Tom Randall (Commissioning Editor, Cambridge University Press). As usual, a short presentation will be delivered by our guest followed by comments and Q + A. The session will be held jointly with Dr Ben Golder at UNSW Law School, and the UNSW Critique Network. There will be a limited number of spots for non-IILAH/UNSW participants, so contact Connor Foley connor.foley@unimelb.edu.au if you are interested in attending.
