Melbourne Law School is the first Australian law school to introduce an effective, integrated transactional law focus within its
curriculum. It does this in a number of ways, including the following:
- Identifying existing subjects and introducing new subjects that have a strong transactions focus.
- Harnessing the experience of those members of faculty who teach subjects with a transactional component in the area of substantive law, transactional skills and professional ethics.
- Adopting a consistent approach to the teaching of transactional skills and providing a platform on which all of the relevant subjects can be viewed as part of an integrated subject offering for curriculum design and other purposes.
