Obligations IX Conference: Form and Substance in the Law of Obligations

The Ninth Biennial Conference on the Law of Obligations will be co-hosted by Melbourne Law School and the Faculty of Law at the University of Oxford, and will be co-convened by Professor Andrew Robertson, University of Melbourne and Professor James Goudkamp, University of Oxford. The biennial Obligations Conferences bring together scholars and practitioners from throughout the common law world to discuss current issues in contract law, the law of torts, equity, and unjust enrichment.

Approximately 90 presentations will be made over the three days of the conference, including keynote presentations by Andrew Burrows, Professor of the Law of England (Oxford), The Hon Justice James Edelman (High Court of Australia), The Hon Justice Michelle Gordon (High Court of Australia), Birke Häcker, Linklaters Professor of Comparative Law (Oxford), The Hon Justice Mark Leeming (NSW Court of Appeal), Professor Matthew Harding (Melbourne Law School) and Liam Murphy, Herbert Peterfreund Professor of Law and Professor of Philosophy (NYU).
