From "can we?" to "should we?" - how women can and should lead ethical governance
Over the past few years. the Australian public has witnessed failures of leadership, corporate mismanagement and fumbled political responses. The result is that trust in our political, media and business institutions is at an all-time low. How can leaders and managers inspire trust in their institutions, among employees, shareholders and the community, and what role can legal advisors play in that endeavour?
With significant experience advising a multitude of organisations, their boards and executives, in this seminar Wendy Harris QC will discuss how to respond to challenging ethical issues, and how to create environments of trust, respect and ethical behaviour. As President of the Victorian Bar, she will share her thoughts on how women can – and should – lead ethical governance.
