Launch of the Indigenous Law and Justice Hub

On Tuesday the 5 April 2022, the Melbourne Law School celebrated the launch of the Indigenous Law and Justice Hub (the ‘Hub’) . Hub Directors, Dr Eddie Cubillo, (Associate Dean (Indigenous Programs) and Co-Director, Indigenous Law and Justice Hub), and Professor Kirsty Gover (Co-Director, Indigenous Law and Justice Hub) and the Law Students’ Society (LSS) Indigenous representative, Anton D’Amico discussed the hub's aims and objectives, intent for change and desired impact.

The Hub invited friends and colleagues of the Indigenous Law and Justice Hub to reflect on what the establishment of the Hub means to them, by considering the question 'What does the Indigenous Law and Justice Hub mean to you?'.

As part of the Hub's launch, Yuin man and Barrister, Tim Goodwin presented the lecture 'Reimagining the relationship and reshaping our institutions'. Find out more about the lecture.
