2022 - Environmental Law Doctoral Researchers' Workshop
Environmental Law Doctoral Researchers Workshop is a co-hosted with UNSW Sydney's Faculty of Law & Justice. The Workshop is intended to provide an opportunity for PhD researchers in environmental law to share their research in a relatively informal and supportive context, get feedback on their work from peers, and build connections with other emerging researchers in the field. We want to facilitate an open, constructive environment for doctoral researchers to deepen their knowledge, practice their presentation and critical feedback skills, and participate in a research community that will support them throughout and after their PhD studies.

The research in this project was completed during 2003. It examined the legal regulation of the work done by prisoners in Australia and internationally, from the point of view of labour law, and in particular from the point of view of ILO Convention 29 concerning forced labour.
