Melbourne Law School offers elective subjects globally that provide students with the opportunity to meet and network with international practitioners at institutional hubs such as Delhi, Geneva, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Washington DC.
Melbourne JD students have the option to intermit from their course in their final year to complete an additional degree at a partner university. Melbourne Law School has a growing number of partnerships, each with their own areas of expertise, that allow students to further specialise in their chosen field of interest.
Study Overseas program
Melbourne Law School students have the opportunity to undertake a semester of study for credit with Exchange Partners–leading accredited institutions–at locations across the USA, Canada, Europe, China and more.
Independent Study Abroad allows Melbourne Law School students to participate in short-term study programs at overseas law schools of accredited institutions (excluding Exchange partners) for subject credit.
The Legal Internship subject gives students the opportunity to undertake a public interest internship for credit towards their JD. Student internships are a great way to develop your legal and professional skills and build your graduate career prospects. JD students can access exclusive opportunities with highly-regarded organisations or source their own internship in an organisation of interest.
