The Melbourne Law Masters courses and subjects are grouped into specialist legal areas. Law graduates enrolled in a Master of Laws (LLM) or Graduate Diploma in Laws may choose subjects from across the full range of specialisations. The flexible program design assists students who wish to move from a graduate diploma to a related masters degree.
Master of Laws (LLM)
The Master of Laws offers graduate level legal studies, which are recognised internationally. Students can tailor the course to suit their professional aspirations and personal interests.
Note: These courses are available only for law graduates (LLB, JD or equivalent).

Single subject study
Offering an exciting range of subjects, the Melbourne Law Masters program can be undertaken without enrolling in a formal degree, diploma or specialist certificate. Available to both law and non-law graduates, single subject enrolment is a great way to advance your professional knowledge in a specific area of law.
The Melbourne Law Masters program offers a number of professional overview subjects that provide an introduction to key legal areas. These subjects are not available for academic credit in the Melbourne Law Masters program.
