Melbourne Law School places a priority on developing our students’ capacity for working in rapidly changing technological workforce. In addition to providing access to a range of tech-based electives and competitions, we also provide optional coding classes for all students.
Each class covers the fundamental elements of coding and how coding can be applied in a range of tasks from creating apps to having conversations with future clients about their technological needs.
Following a successful pilot program in 2017, the MLS Enrichment Team will once again offer coding classes to all students in 2018.
The classes are taught by a student in the University of Melbourne’s Master of Science (Computer Science) program. The program comprises six weekly classes of one hour and is suitable for beginners.
Classes will run in semesters one and two of 2018. Students will receive information on these courses once details are finalised.
