Barnaby has been a Senior Fellow of the Law School since 2010 and presently lectures in planning law.
He is a member of the Victorian Bar and maintains a practice in public law focussing on planning law and environment law.
In 2007 Barnaby completed a LLM degree at New York University (focusing on environment, land use and administrative law). Throughout 2008 he was a fellow of New York University's Centre for Environmental Law and Land Use Law where he worked on the preparation of a textbook on environmental law (Richard L Revesz, Environmental Law and Policy, Foundation Press (2008)).
