Overview
Gabriela Rosenberg is an Assistant General Counsel in the Legal Department of the International Monetary Fund in Washington, DC. Since joining the IMF in 2002, she has worked on a wide range of IMF legal and policy matters related to IMF lending policies, provision of IMF financing to member countries, Fund Financial Issues, trade, enterprise risk management, and exchange systems. Most recently, she has been leading the legal aspects of lending policy reforms in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, food shock and climate change. Before joining the IMF, Gabriela worked in the Legal Department of the Central Bank of Argentina, advising on central bank legal issues, banking supervision and bank resolution legal frameworks, and reserve management legal issues. She is a graduate of the Universidad de Belgrano, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and holds a master’s degree (LLM) from Harvard Law School. Gabriela conducts regular training on issues related to IMF operations.
