Overview

Liran Haim is an Israeli Judge and a Fellow Lecturer for Banking Regulation and Payment Systems. He is the co-author of Israeli leading textbook series on banking law and payment devices, as well as numerous academic papers and regulatory reports. His work is frequently cited, among others, by Israel judicial tribunals, including the Supreme Court.

Liran served as a visiting lecturer and researcher on Advanced Payment Devices and Banking Law in leading universities worldwide, including Columbia Law School (NYC) and Melbourne Law School. He is a frequent speaker in professional conferences and academic symposia.

Liran has rich practical and regulatory experience acquired by his seventeen years of work at the Israeli Ministry of Justice. In this capacity, Liran served as a senior prosecutor for financial crimes and bank fraud. He also participated in various law reform committees headed by the attorney general and Israeli central bank.

Liran holds a PhD in Law and BA in Economics.
