Dr Mark Brabazon SC

Overview

Mark Brabazon is Senior Counsel based in New South Wales. He was called to the bar in Queensland in 1984, moved to Sydney in 1988, and took silk in 2008. He practises in tax, equity and commercial law.

Mark was awarded a PhD by the University of Sydney in 2018 for his work on international trust taxation. He is the author of International Taxation of Trust Income: Principles, Planning and Design published by Cambridge University Press and ‘Application of Tax Treaties to Fiscally Transparent Entities’ in the Global Tax Treaty Commentaries. His main research interest is in international taxation.
