Nathan Chin

Overview

Nathan Chin is a Lecturer at Melbourne Law School where his teaching focuses on Torts, Corporations Law, and Free Speech and Media Law. He has extensive teaching experience, including as a subject coordinator and lecturer at La Trobe Law School and in Melbourne Law School’s Legal Academic Skills Centre. Prior to joining Melbourne Law School, Nathan worked in the commercial team at Arnold Bloch Leibler, with a focus on private wealth, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets.

Nathan holds a Master of Science in Law (with Distinction) from the University of Oxford, where his studies focused on technology and international transactional law in the Faculty of Law, and entrepreneurial finance and corporate valuation at Saïd Business School. He also holds a Juris Doctor from Melbourne Law School (during which he achieved a cohort rank of fourth) and a Bachelor of Arts (in Politics and Philosophy) from the University of Melbourne.
