Paul Hockridge is a Tax Partner in the Melbourne office of Mutual Trust, one of Australia’s leading multi-family offices.
He has a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Laws Degree, a Graduate Diploma in Taxation and a Master of Laws. He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia + New Zealand, a Chartered Tax Advisor and is an Australian legal practitioner under the Legal Profession Uniform Law (Vic).
For a number of years Paul represented CPA Australia on the Fringe Benefits Tax subcommittee of the National Tax Liaison Group and he sat on the FINSIA Risk Management and Estate Planning Task force.
Before becoming a senior fellow in the Law School at the University of Melbourne, Paul was an Adjunct professor at LaTrobe University.
Paul is the original author of a book on employment taxes published by Thomson Reuters, called A-Z of Benefits and Expense Payments and has contributed a number of chapters to the book Estate and Business Succession Planning, published by The Tax Institute.
For a number of years Paul has been a regular author and speaker on taxation matters, particularly in relation to tax aspects of business and investment structuring, estate and succession planning and salary packaging.
