Professor René Lefeber

Overview

René Lefeber is Deputy Legal Adviser of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. He advises the Government on international law, and represents the Netherlands in international legal proceedings and intergovernmental negotiations, including Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meetings, the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space and the International Seabed Authority. He is also Professor of International Environmental Law at the Amsterdam Centre for Environmental Law and Sustainability.
