Timothy Kuhner is Associate Professor at the Auckland Law School. He focuses on the law of democracy, especially campaign finance and political corruption. Kuhner is the author of Capitalism v. Democracy (Stanford University Press) and the co-editor of Democracy by the People (Cambridge University Press). Kuhner served as a Fulbright Senior Scholar at the University of Barcelona, a Thomas J. Watson Fellow in Latin America, and a law clerk on the US Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He is a graduate of Bowdoin College and Duke Law School.
