Public Interest Law Initiative
- Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI)
The Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) is a hub for public interest law and debate at Melbourne Law School. PILI's range of clinical subjects enable students to contribute to the work of our community law partners and learn by working with real clients to solve real legal problems.

Clinics and Internships
Partnerships
PILI partners with a variety of organisations to offer students a diverse selection of clinical experiences that encapsulate the broad field of public interest law. These partnerships enable students to work directly with people who need legal assistance or legal information in a supervised and supported environment.
Student Networks
There are a number of student run associations and groups within Melbourne Law School that promote public interest law, access to justice and community law issues. PILI is proud to support these networks and their public interest law events and programs.
