Woodward Medallists
The medals are presented each year by the University to recognise staff for research considered to have made the most significant contribution in their fields during the previous five years.

Chancellor's Prize for Excellence in the PhD Thesis
The Chancellor's Prize is the only University-wide award for a PhD thesis and is presented to outstanding students in three clustered faculty groupings: Humanities, Creative Arts and Social Sciences; Science and Engineering; and Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences.

Harold Luntz Graduate Research Thesis Prize
The Harold Luntz Graduate Research Thesis Prize is awarded annually to a Melbourne Law School graduate researcher judged to have presented the best thesis in the previous year. It is named for Emeritus Professor Harold Luntz, a world expert on torts law and a former dean and professor at Melbourne Law School.
