Privacy Post-Pandemic Webinar - 19.05.20

What are the privacy implications arising from the global health pandemic?

Event synopsis

Melbourne Law School presents the Covid-19 and Law: Expert Panel series.

This webinar considers the justifications for the restrictions on freedom of movement and gatherings and dramatically enhanced digital and physical surveillance, from a privacy and public interest perspective, and the implications for when and how we should transition out of the current arrangements. What should we carry forward with us as permanent change; what do we have to avoid as an unwelcome legacy?

This panel discussion was moderated by Associate Professor Jonathan Liberman, featuring: Professor Jeannie Paterson, Professor Megan Richardson, Associate Professor Stacey Steele and Associate Professor Mark Taylor.
