Overview
Evgenia Bourova is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Corporate Law, Melbourne Law School. She is currently working on the Financial Exclusion, Poor Insurer Practices and Consumer Protection Project with Professor Ian Ramsay and Associate Professor Paul Ali. Until July 2018, Evgenia was the Research Fellow for the Financial Hardship Project, which examined the practical operation of the legal protections for consumers facing debt problems.
Evgenia holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (Social Theory) degree from The University of Melbourne. Prior to joining Melbourne Law School in March 2014, she worked as a Research Associate at the Supreme Court of Victoria (Court of Appeal). She was admitted to practice as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2016.
