Executive Power and the Parliament – before and after Williams

The 2023 CCCS Constitutional Law Conference commenced with the inaugural Michael Crommelin Lecture, a new ongoing series of public lectures in honour of Michael.

The inaugural lecture was delivered by the Honourable Robert French AC, former Chief Justice of Australia, on the topic 'Executive Power and the Parliament - before and after Williams'

The 2023 conference had special significance as it was dedicated to marking the immense contributions of Emeritus Professor Michael Crommelin AO to the field of constitutional law as well as to the Centre and the Melbourne Law School.
