Listen to Commissioner Niki Vincent and researchers Mira Gunawansa and Kate Dangar as they discussed the findings of their research on the lived experience of caregivers working in the Victorian public sector.
This research was funded by the Commission for Gender Equality in the Pubic Sector (CGEPS) Grants Scheme. The research highlights how caregiving can have a significant impact on workplace inequality; and identifies how organisations, managers and the public sector generally can better support those with caregiving responsibilities.
Researchers Mira Gunawansa and Kate Dangar explored the key findings of the project, and concrete actions that can be taken to promote gender equality.
