IILAH Skills Circle and Morning Tea
Tuesday 7 April 2020 - 11:00 am by Zoom
Email Connor Foley for a Zoom Invitation.

In this ‘skills circle’ we will share suggestions and strategies for continuing to conduct our research not only remotely, but in difficult times. All are welcome, no matter how senior or junior. The purpose of a skills circle is not that one person will provide a lecture or guide, but that we will all have a conversation about our experience and strategies.  The model is the knitting circle, where knitters of different skill levels come together and sit in a room and knit, speaking about the elements of the craft whist they do it.  Issues we might like to address could be ‘concentrating in a time of crisis’, ‘maintaining a sense of purpose’, ‘reading without checking social media every 5 minutes’, ‘researching and worrying about loved ones at the same time’ or anything else. Bring your own tea, coffee and delightful cakes to share in spirit. If you would like to join please email Connor Foley at connor.foley@unimelb.edu.au for the link.
