Professor Jennifer Hill

Jennifer Hill is the Bob Baxt AO Professor in Corporate and Commercial Law and Director of the Centre for Commercial Law & Regulatory Studies (CLARS) at Monash University Faculty of Law. She writes widely in the area of comparative corporate governance and has held visiting research and teaching positions at a number of international law schools including Cambridge; NYU: Cornell; University of Virginia and Vanderbilt University. Jennifer is a Research Member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI) and an Academic Fellow of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on Sustainable Finance and EU Law (EUSFiL) at the University of Genoa, Italy. She is a Life Member of Clare Hall, Cambridge and the Australian Corporate Law Teachers’ Association (CLTA) and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law (AAL). In 2022, she will be Director of the Corporate Purpose section of the ECGI’s Responsible Capitalism Project and a Director of the Global Corporate Governance Colloquia (GCGC).
