Aims and Values

Core Aims

  • To curate, support and promote the extensive range of teaching, research and engagement activities being undertaken within the Melbourne Law School in the field of human rights.
  • To develop and support a network of scholars and students within the Melbourne Law School and the broader University who have an interest in research, teaching and engagement in the field of human rights.
  • To develop a program of activities that will raise awareness, educate and stimulate conversations about human rights beyond the University of Melbourne among policy makers, members of civil society, the private sector, professional bodies and members of the general public.
