Obligations Workshop 2024

On 27 March 2024, the Obligations Group hosted the inaugural MLS Obligations Workshop, convened by Professor Ying Khai Liew.

The annual MLS Obligations Workshop is a forum for invited private law colleagues to present and discuss works-in-progress in an intimate and collegiate setting. Each workshop coincides with the visit of an international private law scholar who also gives the annual Allen Hope Southey Lecture. The 2024 Allen Hope Southey Lecture was delivered by Professor Charles Mitchell KC (University College London), on the topic 'Knowing Receipt, Fiduciary Duties and Equitable Interests in Property'.
