CAIDE welcomes the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences as our newest member faculty!

The Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Ethics is delighted to announce that the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Science (MDHS) will be joining CAIDE as a member faculty, through the Centre for Digital Transformation of Health. MDHS joins our existing members, Melbourne Law School and the Faculties of Arts, Science, Engineering and IT.

CAIDE and MDHS researchers have collaborated on several projects to date, including Looking Into the Psychiatric Panopticon and Interrogating the Ethics of Biometric Capture in Immersive Musical Performance

CAIDE is excited to be formalising this already collaborative and fruitful relationship with MDHS, enabling greater opportunities to contribute to society’s understanding and use of AI and digital technologies in medicine, psychology and healthcare. We thank the Faculty of Medicine Dentistry and Health Sciences for their support in this endeavour, and the company provided by sharing a floor with the Centre for Digital Transformation of Health! We look forward to broadening and deepening our research with the expertise afforded by their accomplished and renowned researchers and academics.
