Melbourne Graduate School of Education joins CAIDE
CAIDE Welcomes the Melbourne Graduate School of Education as our sixth and newest member faculty
The Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Ethics is delighted to announce that the Melbourne Graduate School of Education has joined us as a member Faculty!
The Melbourne Graduate School of Education (MGSE) joins Melbourne Law School, the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Engineering and IT, and the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences to become our sixth member Faculty.
AI and digital ethics as it relates to education is already a significant area of interest to CAIDE, in which several members of CAIDE have published papers and news articles, such as the ethics of online exam supervision and the ethical use of digital technologies in education.
Within the Melbourne Graduate School of Education, technology and digital ethics is also an area of keen interest. The School offers microcredentials in digital safety, ethics and wellbeing as well as digital tools for inclusive learning, and has conducted research on topics such as education policy and governance in the digital era, and personalised learner analytics.
CAIDE looks forward to learning from MGSE and developing shared expertise in an important and impactful cross-disciplinary area of research.
